This is why it is important to have a web hosting service that has good technical support available, especially if you are putting up your first website.

When you begin using your FTP program, you’ll find that it’s a lot like using your own computer’s explorer. Most programs allow you to transfer files just by dragging and dropping them from one window to another. You may also rename, delete, and modify your files in the same way that you do with your own files in your hard drive. As long as your website’s links are coded properly, you shouldn’t have any trouble using your FTP program.
