Rout host is a private company in North Carolina. Rout host began as a free service company called 125x125.com. The company is profitable and debt free. Their servers are located in Houston Texas. The servers and software are made by name brand companies such as Intel and Linux.

Design

Rout host’s design service is new. There are no quotes online. You must feel out a form to be told how much a design will cost. I can only assume this means the price is on a per project basis. Though larger sites may take longer Rout host boasts it usually takes them only 7 to 10 days to complete a project once the order is placed. Their web design also includes maintenance. The design team will also produce online advertisements. This also is on a per project basis. Rout host customers receive 15% of the normal cost of design.

Hosting

Rout host has three plans ranging from the bronze at $5.95 a month to the Gold at $8.95 a month. None of Rout host’s plans have any setup fees or other hidden cost. The bronze offers 750 megabytes of disk space, 20 gigabytes of monthly traffic, control panel, daily backups, and 1 website per account. The plan, like all of Rout host’s plans includes many extra features. The Gold plan offers 3000 megabytes of disk space, 80 gigabytes of data transfer monthly, control panel, daily backups, three websites and a host of other features.

Support

Rout host offers fair support. All plans come with a 30 day money back guarantee, 99.9 % uptime guarantee, 24 hour technical support, and flash tutorials. They also provide live chat, but when I tried to use it I received a message that said it was unavailable and I was ask to send an email. Makes me wonder what 24 hour support means to Rout host. Also provided is a questions and answers section, and trouble tickets.

Services

Rout host has wonderful services. All of there plans come with unlimited email accounts, unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited FTP accounts, unlimited sub domain names, and daily backups. They also offer Fanastico and site builder. Also Rout host designs web pages and registers domain names.

Rout host has nothing for business, but for the personal sit this is a perfect choice. Rout host has excellent plans, loads of features and services, and good support. I would not recommend Rout host to any business, but when in search of an excellent web host for a personal site do not choose a host till you’ve visited www.routhost.com.
